Concert Photography: Father John Misty

Here are some shots from Father John Misty, the moniker of former Fleet Foxes drummer Joshua Tillman, performing at Debaser Slussen last night in front of a packed, sweaty house. Opening with "Fun Times in Babylon" from his first solo album as Father John Misty, it took no time for Mr. Tillman to get into the rhythm, shaking his hips wildly and tangoing with the mic stand. His extravagant moves on stage were outdone only by his deep and passionate voice. He reached out to the crowd through his sarcasm-laden banter between songs and after ending the set with their smash hit "Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings", they had the crowd begging for an encore.
