Lisbon. Wow. What to say about this place? Not really sure what I expected to see, but all I can say is that I was extremely impressed. Sure, it's got hundreds of buildings falling apart, and okay, we might have been offered drugs on multiple occasions, and yes, we might have spent over an hour wandering around trying to find a single place offering WIFI, but that's what makes Lisbon wonderful. The people were extremely friendly, the night life was actually insane (the party wasn't in the bars, it was in the streets!), and the buildings were charmingly decrepit. So many colorful tiles and textures! And so, so much laundry publicly displayed in the window. I had a blast wandering the streets here, and as I've got a huge place in my heart for cities a bit rough around the edges, I had an amazing time photographing this place. Here's the first installment; hope you enjoy!

Barcelona: Street Shots, Black and White Set
Well, I just got back from an absolutely amazing road-trip across Spain and Portugal, and am throughly excited about all the photos I got to take. I've got loads and loads to edit though, so it'll be a slow process getting them up. In any case though, here's the first batch: B&W street shots from wonderful Barcelona.
This city kicks ass. In every way. Narrow, meandering streets that seem to touch the sky; colorful balconies with clothing hung out to dry; wide avenues with beautiful buildings in art nouveau style; parks filled with grassy knolls and emerald palm trees; a scenic harbor brimming with sea worthy sails; and of course everything from the genius mind of Gaudi. And this is the facade alone. The tapas, the wine, the beer, the people, the art- a feast for all the senses! Okay, enough raving... Enjoy the shots, and lots more to come :)
